About this site

This website promotes a private celebrant, paperwork-only marriage service in Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers.

It is not a government registry website.

Website information

We try to keep the information on this site accurate and helpful, but it is still general information only.

If your situation is unusual or legally complex, you may need independent advice.

Booking the service

The usual process is:

  1. you complete the booking form
  2. you pay the fee
  3. you prepare and send the required paperwork
  4. we confirm a date, time and place once the paperwork is received and subject to availability

Paying the fee starts the process, but it does not by itself guarantee a specific date or time.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate information and the documents needed for the marriage.

If information is wrong, incomplete, or delayed, that may affect whether or when the marriage can proceed.

Our responsibility

Third-party services

This site may link to other websites and services, including external providers for bookings, payments, elopements, and full ceremony referrals.
