What's a paperwork-only marriage?
A paperwork-only marriage is the simple legal version of getting married.
It is for couples who want to be married without turning the day into a wedding.
We are private authorised celebrants providing a registry-style service. We are not a government registry.
What is included
- The legal marriage solemnisation
- The required legal words
- Signing the marriage documents
- Registration of the marriage after it takes place
- Help understanding the paperwork before the day
What is not included
- Aisle moments
- A personal ceremony script
- Guest seating and a wedding setup
- Styling, music cues, or a big event feel
- A full celebrant wedding service
Who this suits
- Couples who want the cheapest and simplest way to get married
- Couples who care more about being married than having a wedding
- Couples sorting out visa, paperwork, or legal timing
- Couples planning a bigger celebration later
- Couples who want a friend to lead the symbolic part later on
How it works
- Click Get Married.
- Fill out the booking form and pay the fee.
- Prepare your Notice of Intended Marriage. NOIM Easy makes this much easier.
- Have the NOIM witnessed properly and send the paperwork to us.
- Once the paperwork is received, we confirm a date, time and place subject to availability.
- On the day, you meet us with two witnesses, say the legal words, sign, and get married.
Important to know
- This is still a real legal marriage.
- You usually need to give at least one month notice.
- Both of you must be there in person.
- Two witnesses aged 18 or over are required.
- If you want more than paperwork, this is not the right service.
